The Completion Criteria & Monitoring Framework received broad support and valuable feedback from stakeholders at a forum last month, with strong interest being received from users in WA and other states.
The final report is scheduled for release in early 2019 and will present the framework and foundational work including a review of relevant literature and research; a program of broader industry interviews and survey, and several case studies from across WA.
Key project partners include Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, Iluka, Alcoa, Hanson, Independence Group, South32, Roy Hill, BHP and Rio Tinto.
The project is being delivered by the Department of Biodiversity,Conservation and Attractions; Curtin University; Murdoch University; Edith Cowan University and The University of Western Australia.
