Collaboration, Leverage and Integration Committee (CLIC)
The CLIC committee functions as a sub-committee of the Board, and has representation from each of the Participating Organisations with a research function:
- Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions
- Curtin University
- Murdoch University
- The University of Western Australia
- Edith Cowan University
- Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority
- W.A. Museum
As well as advising on project proposals, CLIC is responsible for identifying areas or themes for prospective collaboration between participants.
It makes recommendations to the Executive Director as to organisation of, or attendance at events, forums or conferences that may assist in exploring those areas or themes.
CLIC also identifies relevant grant and research funding programs in which WABSI may want to recommend participation, as well as providing advice on priorities for engagement with prospective research funders from industry and government.
